We've just had a lovely Easter (with half decent weather for a change) where among other things we managed to get on top of a few chores including blog updates! Charlie had an Easter bonnet parade at school the day before the break, which coincided with grandparents' day, so Flick coopted old and new neighbours Linda & Leona to be surrogates.
On Good Friday we had a super afternoon in the back yard with Charlie's friends Dustin & Orson, parents Rachel, Angela & Simon, and siblings Hazel, Otto and Cohen. Everyone was having such a good time we threw a few snags on the barbie and eventually had the kids in front of a movie until bed time.

On Saturday we had Captain Charlie in the house so we made the SS Salty Sea and sailed down to see our neighbours.
The Easter bunny visited our place early Sunday morning and we had a super egg hunt. Charlie was still in his pirate gear so it was very appropriate that the climax of the hunt was pirate ship Easter eggs for the boys! We had dyed boiled eggs for breakfast.
Easter Sunday evening we hosted Linda, Frank and Des for a yummy roast chicken.
