Granny and Grandad's visit

After our lovely family holiday at home over Christmas/New Year, Granny and Granddad arrived a few days after David returned to work to keep things lively.  It was great to have them and the boys really appreciated the chance to hang out.

Charlie was given another Titanic model, this one comprising over 100 foam board pieces.
Fortunately no glue or paint!

It also gave us the chance to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary in style with a night away at a harbour side hotel.  We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite adjacent to the Harbour Bridge.
The view from our hotel suite... Literally!

Bathroom, bedroom and living room beyond. We could get used to this.

Just after Granny and Granddad left we also attended the Wind in the Willows show with Des, which takes place in various parts of the Botanic Gardens and is hugely entertaining for children and adults alike.

On other cultural fronts we also attended the Festival Gardens and experienced a Stonehenge jumping castle.
